MK’s THOUGHTS N° 063-2025
There are thirty million “geniuses” here, thirty million oversized egos. In the final analysis, it is a misfortune to have only a nation of learned people, of those who “know” everything about everything. Such a people has a head full of delusions and a body mired in the stains of indignity. It’s a people where « saying is doing », where noise takes the place of eloquence, where bluster takes the place of success, where horizontality is absolute: no one surpasses the other. Equal citizenship does not mean equal intelligence or knowledge. A progressive society and a strong nation are those of diversified skills, founded on respect for human dignity, but with social stratification, underpinned by the horizontality of participation and respect, but governed on the basis of verticality, without which society would be paralysed by inertia and the nation devoid of direction. Humility has never been an obstacle to elevation; it is the mark of the greatest. Our intrinsic value lies in our excellence in our profession, whatever that may be, and not in a parchment or a flashy claim to a monopoly on knowledge.

When a society has been transformed into a gas factory, woe to him who strikes a match. Such a factory is not a playground for jokers, fools or grandstanding. Everyone must be aware that if a match is struck in such a factory, no one will escape unharmed. The main limit to the immoderate use of force is awareness of the certainty that it will inevitably also destroy those who resort to it.

There’s no point in trying to convince minds corrupted by jealousy or gratuitous hatred. They know everything but do nothing. If you stay in your corner, they castigate your silence. If you try to act, they predict your failure and do their best to make it happen, to prove them right. Because whatever happens, they’re always right. When the law speaks for you, they take refuge in opinion and don’t hesitate to call on illegality and even state violence to the rescue. So don’t be distracted. Fight with all your might, with all your convictions, guided only by the rightness of the cause and your clear conscience.
MK’s THOUGHTS N° 066-2025.
Refuse to dispense justice to citizens, and they will seek justice wherever they think they can find it; if need be, they will dispense justice themselves. Twist the law to crush citizens, and you sound the trumpets of revolt. It is an eternal truth that, like a human being, every social body, even the most apathetic, reacts, even in despair, when pushed to the limit.
MK’s THOUGHTS N° 067-2025.
A woman’s fate is not to weep, suffer or die at the hands of a man, and her life is not worth fifty-two thousand (52,000) CFA francs. Like all human lives, hers is priceless. Feminicide is humanicide. We must collectively ensure the safety of women and children, erecting around them a wall of legal, ethical and social protection, in order to preserve the beauty of life in society, of which women are the light, and to ensure the future of humanity, of which children are the bud. This is our duty as human beings and our commitment as political actors.
MK’s THOUGHTS N° 068-2025.
One of the clear signs of the suffering caused by the trauma of racial domination is the desire for validation. The dominant himself wants to validate the extent of the tragedy he has caused, otherwise it does not exist in his eyes. The dominated person expects and hopes for this validation of his tragedy as a means of satisfaction and healing. We are in a situation where the criminal has to decide whether he believes he has committed a crime or not; where it is up to him to express the victim’s death and pain, and to find the shroud of words to cover them, in other words the legal qualification of his acts. The truth is that this process of validation robs the survivors of their pain and makes healing impossible. It is up to the victim to write the story of their tragedy, to find the path to healing.

Arrogance is the mother of human failings. It listens only to its own self-importance and mistakes mercy for weakness. It is a mad horse that hurtles towards the void and tramples all those who try to divert it from the path of disaster. All we can do is watch it run towards its own demise.
MK’s THOUGHTS N° 070-2025.
In our hands lie the keys to our individual and collective future, the keys to the long-awaited victory of change through democratic alternation. There is only one thing that can make the people of change lose: fear. But fear of what? And until when? State terrorism, which deploys repressive machinery paid for with our taxes to break the will of peaceful citizens, is no less horrible and detestable than the terrorism of Boko Haram, which takes the lives of our compatriots. We only have one life, and fear is preventing us from living it to the full. Fear has never saved anyone; it reduces us to servitude before finishing us off for good. Kill the fear in you before it gives you up.
